Kerr Foundation Grants
Provides grants to nonprofit organizations in the Kerr Foundation target area in the areas of education, health, cultural development, and human services.

Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health Scholarship
Financial support for American Indian and Alaska Native scholars, health leaders, health professionals, and paraprofessionals serving tribal communities who are interested in attending the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health Summer or Winter Institute courses at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Tobacco Regulatory Science (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
Grants to support biomedical and behavioral research that will provide scientific data to inform regulation of tobacco products to protect public health. Projects may focus on one or more classes of tobacco products and on one or more vulnerable populations.

Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship
A self-directed fellowship for Native Americans engaged in meaningful work that benefits Indigenous people and communities in reservation and/or urban settings. The fellowship is open to both emerging and experienced leaders from a wide variety of fields, including but not limited to healthcare, agriculture, food systems, youth leadership development, natural resource management, climate change, economic development, journalism, language and cultural revitalization, and traditional or contemporary arts.

Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health Community-Track Pilot Project Grants
Grants for community-based projects working to prevent agricultural injury and illness through training and educational campaigns. Priority will be given to projects addressing the conditions of work related to stress and mental health, the prevention of slips/trips/falls and other traumatic injuries, and chemical safety.

Clinical and Translational Science Award (UM1 Clinical Trial Optional)
Funding for Clinical and Translational Program Hubs that are expected to develop, demonstrate, and then disseminate solutions to barriers that limit the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical and translational science research. A major interest of the program is improving rural health outcomes and eliminating health disparities.

Strategies to Improve Health Outcomes and Advance Health Equity in Rural Populations (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
Grants for research projects to develop, adapt, or implement intervention strategies to address social determinants of health to improve health and promote health equity in rural populations.

Rural Health Research Center Program
Cooperative agreement to increase the amount of high quality, impartial, policy-relevant research to assist providers and decision-makers in better understanding problems faced by rural communities, and provide information that will improve access to quality, affordable healthcare services.

Pennsylvania Research Grant and Mini Grant Programs
Research grants in Pennsylvania to conduct applied policy research that can result in legislative or program policy considerations and mini grants for projects that focus on basic data collection/analysis, timely issues, and/or the preparation of reference materials.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Research on the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Risks for Abuse and Injury Among Vulnerable Children and Youth
Notice of Special Interest to fund research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and risks for abuse and injury among vulnerable children and youth. Emphasis is placed on disparity populations related to abuse and neglect prior to the pandemic, as well as populations that have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus. Disparity populations include American Indians, Alaska Natives, LGBT youth, and children seen at rural emergency departments.
