Administration for Children and Families (ACF)
Funds state, local, and tribal organizations to provide family assistance, child support, child care, Head Start, child welfare, and other programs relating to children and families. Operates the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF). Part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA)
Supports state and local human service agencies and seeks to influence policies and practices that support the health and well-being of children and families, and that lead to stronger communities.

Capacity Building Center for Tribes
Provides products and tools, peer networking activities, and individualized expert consultations to tribal welfare programs. Services are provided at no cost for American Indian and Alaska Native child welfare programs that receive Title IV-B or IV-E funding.

Administers federal government job training and worker dislocation programs, federal grants to states for public employment service programs, and unemployment insurance benefits. National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS)
A 21-member independent advisory group with expertise in a wide range of rural health and human services issues. Advises the Secretary of Health and Human Services on healthcare challenges in rural America.

National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP)
Works to assist states in responding to poverty issues. NASCSP members are state administrators of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the U.S. Department of Energy's Weatherization Assistance Program (DOE/WAP). Helps states implement programs that include weatherization, energy assistance, child care, nutrition, employment, state energy programs, job training, asset development, and housing.
