American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA)
Provides access to educational opportunities for long-term care administrators. Offers professional certification and recertification for Certified Nursing Home Administrators (CNHA), Certified Assisted Living Administrators (CALA), and the state licensing for nursing home administrators who operate nursing homes that provide Medicare and Medicaid services, called the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Board exam (NAB).

American Health Care Association (AHCA)
A federation of affiliated state health organizations, representing over 14,000 assisted living, nursing facility, developmentally-disabled, and subacute care providers that care for more than 1 million elderly and disabled individuals nationally. Includes a listing of state nursing home and state health associations. Produces yearly state long-term care sector statistics and data reports which include facility and demographic characteristics on nursing facilities including rural, urban, freestanding, and hospital-based.
