Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Research on the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Risks for Abuse and Injury Among Vulnerable Children and Youth
Notice of Special Interest to fund research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and risks for abuse and injury among vulnerable children and youth. Emphasis is placed on disparity populations related to abuse and neglect prior to the pandemic, as well as populations that have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus. Disparity populations include American Indians, Alaska Natives, LGBT youth, and children seen at rural emergency departments.

CHS Seeds for Stewardship Grants
Matching grants to cooperatives for programs to strengthen hometown communities, with priority given to projects that enhance agriculture safety, farmer well-being, agriculture education, and rural community vitality.

Notice of Special Interest for research to explore and develop telehealth methods and strategies for diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and population analysis in individuals living with HIV and substance use disorder.

Notice of Special Interest for research in understanding the response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help prepare more effectively for future public health emergencies. Populations that experience health disparities are a particular focus.

Loan guarantees to improve, develop, or finance business, industry, and employment and improve the economic and environmental climate in rural communities.

Economic Development Assistance Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance Programs
Funding to support the implementation of regional economic development, including public works projects and job creation projects. Past projects have included funding for water and wastewater projects in hospitals and healthcare facilities and road infrastructure projects that would support the expansion of healthcare facilities. Rural, tribal, and other underserved communities are a program priority.

Tribal Domestic Violence Programs COVID-19 Mitigation Grants
Grants for COVID-19 mitigation that supports tribal programs and community organizations serving indigenous survivors of gender-based violence at the intersection of housing instability and homelessness.

Healthy Eating Research: Supportive and Equitable Policies and Programs Enabling All U.S. Children and Adolescents to Thrive Inactive
Funding for research on supportive family policies and programs with a potential to impact equitable access to nutritious food in communities, nutrition security, diet quality, and improved nutrition and health outcomes. Populations of focus include low income families, and Black, Latino/a, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander.

Building Rural and Frontier Local Health Department Capacity to Address Disparities and Advance Health Equity Inactive
Training and technical assistance support for local health departments in rural and frontier areas to build capacity to prevent and control infection and transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

AmeriCorps State and National Public Health AmeriCorps Grants Inactive
Funding to support the recruitment, training, and development of public health leaders able to provide service in response to the public health needs of urban and rural communities.
