The Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program provides funding for Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian lands for deployment of internet infrastructure, affordability programs, telehealth, and distance learning initiatives.
Funds may be used for:
- Broadband infrastructure deployment projects, including the establishment of carrier-neutral submarine cable landing stations
 - Projects that promote the adoption and use of
  broadband services, including:
    
- Affordable broadband programs, such as providing free or reduced-cost broadband service and preventing disconnection of existing broadband service
 - Distance learning
 - Telehealth
 - Digital inclusion efforts
 - Broadband adoption activities
 
 
Eligible applicants include:
- Tribal governments
 - Tribal colleges and universities
 - Tribal organizations
 - Alaska Native corporations
 - Department of Hawaiian Home Lands on behalf of a Native Hawaiian community, including Native Hawaiian education programs
 
  Award amounts: $1,000,000 - $50,000,000
  for broadband infrastructure deployment projects and
  $100,000 - $2,500,000 for broadband use and adoption
  projects
  Project period: Commitment of funds by
  18 months
  Estimated number of awards: 200
  Estimated total program funding:
  $980,000,000
