Indian Health Professions Preparatory Scholarship provides financial aid for qualified American Indian and Alaska Native students who are enrolled in pre-nursing programs.
There is no service requirement attached to the scholarship.
Descendants and members of federally or state-recognized tribes are eligible.
The current program cycle is limited to pre-nursing students at the sophomore level or higher who are pursuing a bachelor of science degree.
Preparatory scholarship financial aid is paid for up to 2 academic years.
Scholarship recipients are also eligible to request funding for summer courses. Funding for summer courses must be requested annually no later than April 22.
